I’m Caroline Haddad, a Metro DC native with a lifelong love of creativity and color. My artistic journey has taken me through many mediums, but today my work lives at the intersection of contemporary impressionist acrylic paintings, layered mixed media collages, and bold, playful felt pop art.

 

I’m inspired by the vibrant energy of everyday moments, the joy of travel, and the whimsy of nostalgia. With my acrylic paintings, I lean into a colorful, contemporary impressionist style with loose, expressive brushstrokes that celebrate light, texture, and movement. My mixed media collages weave together layers of paint, paper, and vintage ephemera to tell visual stories filled with curiosity and depth. And then there’s my felt pop art; a retro-inspired, whimsical world of color and texture that adds a spark of fun wherever it goes.

 

For me, art is about balance: honoring tradition while embracing play, finding meaning in both the serious and the silly. Whether I’m painting with acrylics, layering collage, or cutting and shaping felt, my goal is the same - to create work that feels alive, joyful, and unapologetically colorful.
